Getting in an accident
A lesson from a recent accident in my car was that the moment there is an accident, especially if it is not your fault, stop the car, get out, and take a photo of the accident and any damage that has occurred. Do NOT move your car. This avoids the possibility of anyone involved in the accident changing their story if indeed you are forced to move your car for some reason.
